I'm very sorry about your loss.
My mother went through something very similar with my brother.
I know how hard it is.
        You have my deepest sympathy.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry Cox

                      Kevin,

Thank you for sharing this with us. Although you aren't looking for sympathy, you whole heartedly deserve it. So let me just say that I am extremely sorry for the loss of your son Nobody deserves what you've been through. I hope you have a great friends and family that are truly supporting you. And remember that it's OK to let your guard down and feel your feelings. It's your right as a human being.

Kevin, sorry for deleting my original post, I didn't take the time to read it carefully. You are right, I do try and appreciate what I have and every moment I spend with those I love, but sometimes I take it for granted. Your post really made me think about a lot of things in my own life.

                          Kevin,

What do you say in response to an event like this to make it "alright"....Nothing, because it's not, it never will be. Noone should have to experience what you have.

That being said, know that all of us, whether we outwardly show it or not wish we could do something that would make it just that little bit easier.

Just as you said, it's times like these that make you sit back and realise that you should not take things or people for granted and that you should appreciate what you have whilst you do.

Thank you for sharing this with us, it shows just how much you appreciate us, and in turn, how much we appreciate you.

Take care of yourself, and your family.

                            Kevin,

As everyone has said there is nothing we can say. However, MURC is a different kind of family and we are here if you need us.
