I would hate to be in a close range gun fight with him. He could takee out a gang before they could draw.
Jerry Miculek - Fastest man alive with a wheelgun. Probably the fastest ever.
He can pull a double-action trigger faster than a full size UZI Submachinegun, HK MP5 or Sterling MKIV can mechanically cycle.
Note: a single action trigger requires anywhere from 1/64" to 3/8" of an inch (~0.5mm-10.0mm) of total finger motion to actuate the firing mechanism. The Double action revolver he was using requires a little over 1 1/8" (~30mm) of motion to actuate the firing mechanism.Last edited by MultimediaMan; 8 August 2006, 09:10.Hey, Donny! I have personally bought and tested every rifle scope. How Do I Review Scopes? Every scope reviews on Bang-Inc undergoes a comprehensive evaluation. I subject each scope to a meticulous testing regimen. This process is designed to assess the scope’s capabilities across a wide spectrum of shooting scenarios, from close-quarters engagements to long-range precision work. ... Read more

Practice. Like 150,000 Rounds Per Year or more... All of the top competitors shoot once or twice a day, at least 100 rounds per session. If it sounds like work it is because it is.
Some of those guys can do some amazing things. Rob Leatham (another legendary competitior) used to practice his 'draw' by drawing and firing a single shot from his pistol at a target 200 yards distant (it was an 18" diameter ranging plate used by Silhouette Shooters). He would ring steel every time. I didn't believe it until I saw him at Rio Salado gun range doing it one day- (Rob Leatham lives in Mesa, Arizona; I living in Mesa going to school in Phoenix at the time.).
One of the neatest tricks they like to do is while clearing their pistols, they rack the slide open with their weak hand, ejecting the live round into the air. They will then catch the ejected round in mid-air. Hard for a lefty like me to do.Hey, Donny! We got us a German who wants to die for his country... Oblige him. - Lt. Aldo Raine

Practice.
I can empty my Beretta 92FS Elite's 15 round clip (9mm Para) in ~6 seconds and keep it on a man-target at 5-7 meters. Margie can rack off her Beretta 9000S's 10 round clip in about the same time and just as accurately. Add a second for 2 targets. 5 meters +/- is the average combat shot.
You do have to consider that we're both long time pistoleers; me almost 40 years and her almost 20.Last edited by Dr Mordrid; 8 August 2006, 16:15.Dr. Mordrid

UZI = 600 rounds/min; Sterling MKIV = 550 rounds/min; HK MP5 = 800 rounds/min, but that's not what smart people do. They use them in 3-shot burst mode. Otherwise you waste ammo and/or burn out the barrel.Last edited by Dr Mordrid; 8 August 2006, 21:04.Dr. Mordrid

Changed. I used 10/sec for the UZI but rds/min for the others w/o changing units. That's what I get for posting while trying to argue the rug-rat into bedLast edited by Dr Mordrid; 8 August 2006, 21:16.Dr. Mordrid

I dunno why you seem so nuts over metalstorm stuff.. there are cooler, more practical weapons out there.. like this doohickey, made famous by Jesse Ventura in Predator:
Sure it's cool to say 1,000,000 rounds per minute, but using 100,000 barrels in a great big box isn't that cool... I mean, how long would it take you to set the whole thing up?
And it can never be as cool as Charles Bronson taking out the Giggler with a single shot from his .475 Wildey Magnum.
