Still 2.50-2.70 for 85 octane around here, and we have a refinery IN Denver! They're making up BS about high diesel demands in the area slowing the price fall.
Hmmm..at least in this country they don't make up BS in such situations
Rather...no comments at all (the city with the largest refinery in the country has also highest prices...)
The main reason gas prices came down was because the major investment houses got out of the hedge funds, which were behind the speculation that drove oil prices up every time The Bearded One from Iran spewed at the mouth.
Now...this all could be reversed if OPEC, a criminal enterprise if ever there was one, reduces their quotas. Problem is they've had a very hard time enforcing those quotas for a long time.
