Will throwing the boy in juvi really solve anything? Needless to say that there's thouands of children in Californaia with easy access to matches. So where's the real problem here? Every time I've I heard about California battling with wildfires, seems like they keep asking for other countries to send them CL-415's and C-103's. Why isn't California equiped with these types of aircraft in the first place? (assuming they don't have any)Titanium is the new bling!
(you heard from me first!)

What if he's a five year old?
Also, one of the other fires was determined to be arson. I think they're still looking for the suspect.

Seriously, if it was a young kid playing with matches, then it is a sad accident. If of an age when the kid, with respect to his mental health, could be expected to know better, then he should be punished, probably best by his parents. I think grounding for 6 months would hit him harder than anything a court could do (unless they fitted a GPS bracelet to achieve the same end).Brian (the devil incarnate)
