And I just realised something disturbing...one of the common links in that equation is the Queen

That’s got to feel good, right? You know, I’m happy for you that you feel so good and confident about yourself.

Except for one thing, you can not tell me who to vote for. Maybe I pulled a joke, but I never attacked anyone for their political believes.
I did question possible influence or conduct of politicians. But you started the illusion and got personal.

Anyway, from what I remember, you never had anything good to say about your government or your country anyway. Besides, with that many Polish people around here you’re not the only one I hear from on how screwed up and corrupted Poland is. Plus, no matter how much your government complains here, Visa travel restrictions will always be in place as long as most Polish visiting wants to stay here illegally.

So, since US is so bad, why is this happening? Why instead installing American Missile Defense System on your soil don’t you ask Russia to protect you? I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to do it.

You better pray that the words of your President while visiting Georgia “we came here to fight”, are not taken literally by Russia. Because you’ll have to whine like Georgian President that nobody cares for them and do want to help defend Georgia. He is forgetting that HE started that war, that’s why he is on his own.

You know, whole world complains US this and US that. Maybe we should vote for a President that will not give a damn about the world order. Why keep helping ungrateful bunch of whiners. Lets close the borders, we have enough resources to make this country independent from the rest of the world.

And watch how the world likes being policed by Russia, China, or perhaps a Middle Easter Country.

With a respect to Sasq, I’m done discussing this topic furthermore.

PS.@az, that might be not so great choice of a picture
I suspect it could stop beeing light-hearted after the chain is gone

Anyway, as said, I am sorry the P&R forum was closed. I'd have loved to discuss the bail-out of GNMA and FNMA and the policy implications that should have. Ah well. We'll stick to discussing F1 racing I guess.

            I hate F1 racing...

You can't hate F1 Racing. Sasq, ban the grumpy smurf from this forum too.

                He he tempting.

Just for those of you that missed it, I have for the last 2 or so elections closed the politics down on murc.

Sorry, but personally I prefer to shut it down long before it becomes a problem. Every other forum, blog, news outlet, small fury dog on the internet is discussing the election. I like a nice quite place where we can discuss cool new cars, F1 or umm i dunno IT related things?

But where do we discuss our religions now...?

Seriously: I support Sasq in this...

I think Sasq is referring to something infinitely more horrible and horrific than that book

Since murc isn't a democracy but we still all come here, I have to agree with Sasq. Think of it as workplace harassment protection but in forum form. I think pretty highly of most of the people here and their skills and interests. However, we all share extremely different viewpoints and we tend to push boundries a lot at certain times. With something like politics (and religion) we tend to get splash damage outside of the designated 'playgrounds.' Let's keep it clean aroudn here for the time being. Not as exciting but I get enough exciting elsewhere these days.

Shutting down the politico forum might not be ideal... but then neither are we

Saying that I still stand behind the old credo of "I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it." Just remember the when/where DOES matter, and this forum constitutes Sasq's private residence with the 'game room' he lets us play in and drink his beer
