      When the C64 came out in 1982 it listed at $595 USD. Adjusted for inflation to 2009 USD's using the CPI index that price would now be $1,327.52

      Personally I think $400-$600 for the Eee Keyboard is extremely reasonable, especially given the increase in power, storage and capability it offers.

      In terms of absolute value for dollar that depends on what you're comparing it too and if that target device is portable enough to even be in the running, not to mention having HDMI wireless.

        Sure, but the machines comparable to C-64 were around two times more expensive back then

        Problem is we don't really have something comparable to this new Eee, yet...but we do know that basically similar functionality is already available quite cheaply in different form factor, no? ;>
