hrm its odd, I haven't seen the error myself. it could just be time related (as in when you access compared to me) - anyone else having the same issues as Brian?

No issues here. Speed seems about the same.

Happened again 3 times at about 12:50 local time

The chart seems to show that NewDream is not the problem but the anonymous Comcast node between LA and Brea, with 100% packet loss.

appears the mystery is solved Brian. they have actually been moving data centers, I just happened to miss that news when i signed up.
Apperently that has caused quite a few routing issues here and there, it should quieten down from now

Couldn't find it this morning (9.00 AM local time in Warsaw), but now it is back online (duh! )...

Brian: what tool did you use to make those statistics?

Same problem at 10.17 this morning, but of short duration.

I used VisualRoute: you can find it by Googling the name.

Also dead slow and stop since, very intermittent, from 10.23 to now 10.28 (GMT+2)

Sorry, same problem again this morning from ~ 10.00 to ~11.00, Cyprus time GMT +2: not able to access MURC forums. No problems accessing any other sites during this period.

Again this morning, roughly at the same time. Tried several times after 10:00 local time and finally got through at 10;28. Do they close something down every day around 08:00 GMT???? This would be midnight PST???????????????

Reminds me of a program a friend wrote to play back some animations. And evey night, it crashed just once, on every computer they ran it. Turns out it was when the clock hit midnight: they subtracted times to do some speed calculations.
(I hope no machine in the network works like that though)

It would be interesting to find out if other people have problems at that particular time tough.

I've noticed a few losses of MURC. I'll make more effort to jot down the times and post.
