Yeah, I should have knocked on wood when I posted earlier. I'm just glad Edmond schools built in a lot of snow days into the schedule this year, which along with the extended school day is going to hopefully keep the kids from having school in June.

I would complain about only getting a delayed opening for work tomorrow, but I can just as easily work from home if wanted.

Here we go AGAIN....another winter storm warning. Just starting.

NWS says near blizzard conditions, 1-2" per hour, thundersnow.

      Lovely

The weather guy says another snow system will hit next Tuesday and Wednesday. Not over yet.

Also, the last time we had a winter like this....

      * coaxial cable had just been invented

      * Chief Sitting Bull still lead the Lakota

      * Jesse James was still robbing banks

I read Lake Michigan was 90% frozen. You could probably ice skate to Chicago by now.

Great Lakes are 92.2% covered with ice. Thick ice.

6.5" of snow today, giving us 90.6" for the season. That's only 3" from the record of 93.6 inches set in the winter of 1880-81.

Now we're back to 0°F and subzero wind chills, with more snow predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday.

For this past week, I've had to go to work in just a suit jacket and shirt, and just the shirt during the day, its so hot.
We've been getting up to 21°C!
A light frost at night due to the clear skies, but not much else.

Today, its just over 15°C so feeling chilly, but in the sun its very warm.
Pollution has been awful as well. Couldn't see the eiffel tower from my officeblock this whole week, so much thick smog. Not choking, but very visible.

Just going to wash the car. Its covered in dust and sand from the morning dew etc..

Sorry you all have it bad with the Snow still. Still wish we had had some more snow than we did, but what you're getting is exceptional.

Maybe this is he beginning of that "Climate Change" malarkey.
Our winter has consisted of a few frosty mornings.
I've not known a winter like this ever, til now.

We got a very tiny amount of snow today... in South Carolina... in late March. Roughly the same latitude as the south of Spain.

Nothing that actually stuck. Just spattering of small snowflakes for a few minutes. Today's high temp was a few C higher than our average low temp.

And I love it I hope summer is mild again.

Right now, before sunrise, we are 1°F from setting a record low temp for the date, and the wind chills are sub-zero. Looks like more snow Saturday.
