Asked a USCG friend in Jacksonville about this.
"The security zone only runs 3 miles offshore. Violators of a security zone can face up to $10,000 fine, 10 years imprisonment, and/or forfeiture of vessel.
The safety zone is larger. Violators could face $1,000 fine and/or 1 year."

Perfect sat launch, and even better F9 performance than expected.
As anticipated, drone ship landing wasn't a success because of the thin reentry and beaking margins, but the next flight should be better.Dr. Mordrid
