I'll get back to this. Afaik, digestable proteins are present at better ratios compared to soy on a weight basis. Meats are superior but I am not sure whether that includes all mass of animals (bones, skin etc.) or not.
I maintain that meat production uses lots of arable land and that there is not sufficient inarrable land to rear meat on, agree? I am not arguing that we should not eat meat, just way way less and insects could cover a lot of the protein need. If you need food to be kosher than by all means limit your diet to kosher insects. The point, of course, was that you submitted gods intentions with respect to diet as an argument.
