Actually, the clock tower made me think of KL, but I don't remember any domes there, nor do I think they would have a designated driver banner in a Muslim country.

Another stab in the dark: Asakusa Senso-ji in Tokyo??? If so, I guess this must be the back view, as I remember the front had a road leading up to it with wooden tourist-trap shops on either side (unless it has changed in the last 10 or 12 years, since I was last there). However, the general architecture fits, but this is quite common, anyway!
