Ahh! I thought the tower was some form of church steepl. I looked again and saw that it was tiered, possibly 7 tiers, and this made me think of Buddhism. Now, the architectural style is way off anything in Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Viet Nam, so I started to think northwards towards China, where they do have some odd-shaped pagodas. I think I would narrow it down to Zhexiang Province. I've only spent a few hours in that province, visiting a factory, but I didn't have the chance of any tourism. My main memory is the highway from and to the airport! My guess is that it is possibly somewhere near the most delicious green tea capital of the world, Hangzhou??????

I was thinking Asia, too. Though the archatexure of the bridge is European in my eyes, which would say southesat pennisula or Hong Kong.

My guess would be Thailand or Hong Kong.

OK, I had a prior half-knowledge: when I was there, I looked through a tourist brochure, and I remember seeing a picture of something similar (probably the same), but from close to. I may even still have the brochure somewhere.

Haven't got time tonight to hunt out a pic: will do so tomorrow morning.
