      Need to buy a dremel to make some custom RamSinks...
      That'l help the memory to 400.

      Turning out to be a sweet card the 9800pro, but i was hoping that the core could go more..gonna run it in a bit with FarCry

            No standard clock is 275/275

            The bench was run at 297/308 that is the most that i can push without crashing.

            Is that a good overclock for a 9000pro i have no extra cooling.

              The only way to really know if its a good overclock, is to compare results from the stock speeds to the OC speeds.
              Looks for the difference in Single and Multi-textured fill rate, when you increase the Core, then the memory, then both.
              That should give you an idea of whether you get a good performance boost, and where the card has its limits.

              Also, the case cooling can help in stability, but the noise factor has to be included...
