"Blu-ray Disc" vs. "HD DVD": Neither Is Winning

Pentium 945D 3.4Ghz (found out what the difference is with the 950 - no VT, d'oh!)
on Watercooling. Corsair 500 doing the northbridge and CPU.
CPu doesn't hit 60C, NB stays at 32-33C all the time at 1.65V.
CPU is at 1.5V, 1.45 after the Vdrop.

Managed to get one of the last Pentium D's available, since I have only a lowly i955X motherboard, not Core compatible.

atm, the processor is at 4.6Ghz, due to some memory problems. All of the G-Skill is stuck at DDR600, and fails above that.
I have put back 2x1Gb of Corsair, and will be back up to 4.8 or more this week (later on today).
Its getting colder here now, and my PC is in the unheated garage gets better and better as winter rolls on...
I need to add a fan on the CPU area, since the voltage heatsink is burning, and the little 4cm fan is holding by one screw. should be able to hit 5Ghz I think. i was gonna stop there.

I do have a spare Pentium D 805, but thats pretty crap, even when OC to 4.1 from 2.66
In case of frying the 945 lol

edit : The corsair 500 is helped by sitting on 2x120mm fans blowing upwards. I have been meaning to open it up and set up a push-pull fan system, 100% all the time. and change the pump. maybe.

That's a damn fine overclock on water for day-to-day use. Nice job.

Not so much extreme cooling, but pushing to the limit.
Got it to 4.77 yesterday, and 4.9 it got to Windows to Bluescreen and reboot.
Then my RAID5 decided to do a parity check, so i left it there.

It's a "stalemate," according to Sir Howard Stringer. He goes on to downplay the winner as nothing more than a matter of prestige while lamenting the lack of a unified standard. A far cry from the BDA's boastful claim of victory just 11 months ago.

So... it would seem... even industry giants backing the high definition formats are beginning to suspect that "HD DVD" and "Blu-ray Disc" might indeed be as dead as DISCo.
