Chuck all this was said a decade ago... nothing changed and for this to happen now would require the DOJ to breakup the company.... fretting about it now is a waste of time... yeah I know it's frustrating, but then that's the way the capatalistic world works...

I guess in the world of today the only way to "Stop" (really mean slow things down)things is by boycotting things and getting huge groups of people to do the same. I have a dual boot setup because i need to run AVID Express DV3 and it only runs on 2k but my general feeling with XP Pro is that it is more stable and accesible than 2K especialy if you are upgrading form a 9X based system......

as for me... i stoped using 9x since 1997 when i discoverd NT4

i first tried it on my old AST Pentium 100 w/16MB ram and a 512MB HD....
