        As a matter of fact W2k Pro boots quite fast. About a minute-1:30 from power up for my install and AMD 900Mhz. Much faster than an old W95 box I have.

          Eh? The biggest complaint about win2k is its boot time, but the upside is that you only have to reboot when you install new video drivers, very rarely is a reboot in order.
