Hey, My G200 still kicks TnT arse!
And now my G400 kicks TnT2 arse

Have your fun Brainiac. We know what's really the best, and well worth the wait. Just because you're impatient, and settled for an inferior card, and feel the need to justify it, you come in here a flamin. That's OK. We've had to put up with your sort before. You'll eventually realize your opinion is worthless here with that attitude, and you'll either give up and go away, or come back from the dark side when you finally decide to get a G400

Maybe you'll even realize that it's PCStop is the one that screwed you, not Matrox. If you had a real brain instead of a plastic one, you would have ordered direct from Matrox, and had your card by now

I thought only stock discussion boards had such craziness.

I guess I haven't been j:erkin off with my hardware as much as some of you. Your dedication is misplaced. How many of you fell in love with 3DFX and their voodoo 1? Uh huh, the only one who didn't raise his hand is hitting the b ong right now.

How they hell is someone supposed to pick the right hardware when it can only be discussed in computerized "safe havens"?

I was sharing an experince I had concerning MATROX HARDWARE so someone else may learn or form an opinion based on my experience. Its called living vicariously. Some of you do it too well.

And one final note: Brain Plasticity refers to the ability of the brain to change its anatomy in response to experience via alteration of the neuronal connections (synapses) and support material.

But still, keep the mutations of the name coming...

You don't get it, do you?
You HAD NO experience with any Matrox hardware. You HAD NO experience with Matrox at all. You had an experience with some hole-in-the wall reseller. That reseller misinformed you about when they could get the card, and you feel the need to take it out on us. It's not our problem that (1)the reseller you chose doesn't rate high enough to get in on the first shipments from Matrox (2)You where not patient enough to wait (3)You didn't visit here sooner, and know what the rest of us knew, and ordered direct from Matrox for quickest delivery.

When you've actually had a real experience with Matrox hardware, maybe you'll have something to contribute. Till then, your just another whiner who shows up, bitches for a couple days, then leaves. I fart in your general direction!

Boys, boys, boys...I love seeing the Grand "Old" Men of the board get hot over a flame just as much as the next chick, but I've got to vote with LAMFDTK...just let it go.

This fool came in trying to flame a dedicated hw board with some off-brand knockoff of a competing card (I mean, I should be all riled up over a *Leadtek* card? I think not.) and it took about 5 posts to say all there was to say.

S/He's a troll. Trolls exist to just generate a tempest in a teapot, not to have reasonable (if sometimes heated) converse, like the rest of us here. In other words, you aren't going to change his/her mind, s/he isn't going to change your/our minds....

So can we either please refuse to participate or just rename this thread "FIGHT!!!" and have done with it?

Oh, but Holly, the occasional roasting of the common internet troll makes for a good BBQ

And this being summer (at least in this hemisphere), it's the perfect time to fire up the old Jenner grill and tie one to the spit

Last in line and laughing my head off....

Paul, if you'd use a Leadtek card as bait, would your trout bite faster?

I said it before, and have to sideline with LAMFDTK, just don't bite the bait !!

I'll have the patience till the MAX is finally showing up in shops in The Netherlands, then I will buy it and just maybe I'll have a couple of questions for y'all after a day or 2 working with it

Until then I'll have problems enough with the rest of my PC, including my G200 & any upcoming 5.2x drivers, I guess

Just for the record Brain, I have never owned and a voodoo board in any incarnation. I have been lucky in that I know poeple who are the impatient type and buy everything as soon as it comes out. So When voodoo1 was out I was able to say No to a disease. I have never liked the image quality on 3dfx hardware. Call me jaded from having worked in 3D on some SGI machines but I had that as a reference and even the ATI boards back then had better looking 3D. Not faster mind you, just better looking. And since there where like 3 games that used it, I never felt the need to buy one.

And finally, compalain what ya want about people jerking off to a video board, You must have been reading this forum for a while to have decided originally to buy a G400. And now that you change your mind and post flame bait your amazed at it? COME ON and get a life man. If you hadent noticed this response to that same type of message before then you really arent that bright huh?

Oh wait, the Leadtek TNT2 kinda proved that for me. Ya didnt even get the best TNT2 board. Sheesh.

A computer is like sex. Your never 100% sure what your doing but when all goes well, it feels REAL good.

LeadTek Winfast S320-II Ultra: The name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but it hardly matters considering the price/performance ratio of this TNT2-based board. Fast, full-featured (it even supports flat panel displays), and available for less than $200, the S320-II Ultra is the 3D accelerator market's biggest sleeper.

Wait!!! You mean that TNT2 chip is finally out? When did that happen, and why didn't anybody tell us sooner? Man! I bet everyone here thought those would never come out. After all, we were only going to settle for a Matrox card, right!?

Thanks for posting that blatant advertisement in a Matrox Hardware forum. I bet this place will empty out all the sudden as we rush out to buy a TNT2 card!!
