Ah Lamer you little beauty! It really works too... and looks good but is kind of slooow. Any ideas how to get things going faster? I've turned on multitexturing & mipmapping, turned off vsync & "always blit" (?).

Anyway, gloom is pretty playable, but actionquake just isn't (bigger levels). Comeon Matrox sort out your opengl drivers please!!

Oops too late Kruzin - but it doesn't seem to have rogered my system at all - I can just click "disable" in the GLDirect config and everything seems fine.

      Greeb - huh?

Smiff - That's because you have not un-installed it. Try uninstalling DGL, and see how well the default OGL works

The proper files are burried in a couple of the .CAB files on your Window CD. All you can do is find them and extract them to their proper location. Winzip7 will open and extract from the .CAB files...

This probably is not related in the slightest, but I had a problem like this once where (don't laugh) if I was NOT connected to the Internet via dial up or now DSL, Solitaire would crash all the time. I've reloaded my machine so many times now that the problem has gone away, I think. With DSL always being on maybe it is still broken. Not that I play Solitaire that much but when I'm burning a CD and feel compelled to watch it, I play something that wont stress my machine too much. My two cents
