You ain't doing nout wrong - the OCing capabilities are for the G400 only. On the G200 you only get the vsync option.

      Hi!

Well, I finally got around to testing MGATweak. What a great program. Without overclocking I would get around 25 fps in Q3demo1 (640*480, 16-bit). Now I get 31 fps!!! My Q2 score in demo1.dm2 showed 52 fps! I LOVE IT!!! Not bad for an old G200 Mill 8Mb.

My card freezes up at PLL clock 204 Mhz and above. I chose the standard SGRAM optimization suggested in the pdf of 3,1,2,5,2,1,FAST,1,1,1,0,0 Is this the optimal setting???

I was wondering if I should mess with the Memory refresh counter. It's shows 3777 now. Also should I try different dividers for GClock and WClock?? they are at 2.0 (101.65 Mhz) now???

      So many questions...

      Regards,

      Jake

Just to clarify. I'm not knocking MGATweak. I think it's a godsend. It's just that I know I should be able to get more speed out of my G200. 3DMark gives 1383 without MGATweak, and always gives in excess of 6200 CPU mark. I cannot enable busmastering, the screen goes to mush immediately, and it doesn't matter what I do to the bios, reformat , remove all other cards etc. I suspect the culprit may be my SIMMs. Alas I'll never know if changing them would have solved the problem (unless my brother decides to buy some SDRAM), since I've sold it. I may just have him buy some for Christmas so I can test my theory. Anyway MGATweak should come in handy when I put my new system together (MAX baby!!)
