That's weird - I have a friend who has a m577 mainboard and has been happily running 4.51 drivers for ages. The other day he screwed his PC, I re-installed the lot, and put on PD 5.25. His PC would then not shut down.
Everyone - this is not the normal hang at the 'please wait' screen, or rebooting instead of shutting down. What it is, is, just after the desktop is lost, and just before the 'please wait' graphic is shown, the desktop goes black, and you are left with a mouse pointer. The PC is then hung and required a hard reset. The big problem with this, is, the registrey gets screwed and goes back the one previous every time you boot.
danswan - try 4.51 drivers and see if that works. If it does, I reckon we have the same problem here. I haven't been able to fix it though.
