    Mrs.Blue:

I am constantly amazed at the negative responses and personal attacks I get when I post something here. It's very petty.
I am constantly amazed at the number of negative threads you start, they are very petty.

Kruzin, are you taking umbrage at him taking umbrage??? Petty, petty, petty (lol, j/k)..!

And the ongoing pettiness of you, Rags, doesn't even bear discussion...

Of course, we've already heard that I know nothing at all anyway, so I don't think I even make 'petty'... but I can whip up a pretty mean marinade if any of you big, strong, action-hero frag-guys want to set up the spit....(nerves, nerves...just itchin' for a roast...)

Kruzin: Fine. Believe whatever you want.

I don't believe it is any settings or something like that causing the problem, because the games used to work with 4.51 (except for the halflife texture corruption, that has been messed up for a while).

System: p2-400, 128 megs, g200 AGP with 8 meg addon, Abit BX6, AGP Aperature at all the different settings, AWE64, 3com 3c905b, Adaptec 2910 scsi

What was the topic you posted in #Matrox last night?

          TurboGL SUCKS (with a link)
Don't try to convince anyone you're not a flame-baiting whiner with that kind of topic.

I meant it sucked as in there was no g200 support. Should I therefore like it because matrox is spending time on makeing it rather than fixing bugs?

I still maintain that it is rather bad to have bugs in an ICD that was supposed to be released over a year ago.

Ummmm... now you've heard my disclaimer, so just consider it as read, please, but... does this make sense in any way?

I don't believe it is any settings or something like that causing the problem
presumably meaning that your PC would be perfect if it wasn't for those damn drivers screwing it up...

Maybe I'm mistaken, but what do you think drivers do?? Sprinkle your PC's interior with (outstandingly beautiful) fairy dust??? They mmmmm, set settings, don't they? Of course, there are the settings that Kruzin mentioned that you can change yourself, but we've already discussed how perfect you are, and how you don't actually need to try anyone's suggestions, despite the fact that you're asking a question (sort of) on a user-to-user support board...

But that's all beyond me (thank goodness), I should be getting back to Barbie Fashion Designer anyway....

You're kind of missing the point, aren't you?

Whether it sucks or not is an entirely different discussion.

The point is, you are to small to just suck it up, and accept the fact that they are supporting their current products more agressivly than an 18 month old one. You just had to whine about it, instead of dealing with reality. That would make you a whiner

BTW - just because they have allocated some people to work on the GL project does not mean that their entire staff is, or that other things are not being worked on. I get fresh betas almost weekly for both my G200 and G400. Work is not going to stop on one thing just because other things are being developed as well. Get a clue.

I don't understand something. Perhaps you could explain it to me since you have all the answers. Why did this flame war start? You people act as if I've insulted your mother the way you respond to the fact that there are bugs in the matrox drivers.

I don't understand why it is so inconcievable that there are bugs in the drivers. There are several other people who have the same problems.

                    Here we go again!!!

Ok, got a load of firewood in the back of the truck. Mostly piñon and some cedar to get it going

Ceder is rather expensive to burn, but who cares! We need only the best for this one.

For the record, this is not a flame-war.

The flame war has not yet begun... but it's about to, any second...

                        "Let's get ready to ruuuuuuuummmmmmmble!!"

Any takers on the bruised guy??? I thought not...

And don't worry 'bout the price of cedar, Paul, I doubt this'll go on long enough to cost you much at all...."We need only the best for this one", indeed...! Perhaps this isn't the main event, but the half-time comedy show....
