That's what I meant, Ash.. there really ISN'T a choice. Well, maybe when the MAC OSX comes out (it's based on BSD), but Macs have their own problems.. seems like any OS that must be commercialized must also be compromised. Sad.

I can't get an installation of Win98 to hold up for more than a month - is this normal? I've wasted huge chunks of my life installing windows - hate the way if you go away and "let it install itself" you only come back to find it got a little bit done and was waiting for you to push OK on some dumbf**k question! ARRGGHHHH!

The upside of this is a I never have to register any shareware
