Hi guys,
I get exactly the same error as both Paul and Andrei, so if you guys hear any new developments about this, I'd be grateful if you posted them here
no probs here apart from the usual lockups every now and then (especially if the PC is cold) and a magenta line which appears somewhere in the demo on a texture...i think only when running in the 640x480 res. (it doesn't look that awful as it may sound but it is noticeable)

Jorden, I've installed a sharwere version of Paint Shop Pro 6 and among the files associated with it are RAS files.
When I try to open one of the RAS files in the 3DMark2000 directory it gives me this: Paint Shop Pro 6
This is not a valid RAS file.
I don't know if normally one can open those files, but at this time I've thought eveything's worth trying.
Just got my G400 (vanilla)32mb dualhead. I must say I am very impressed with the performance. I am getting the same C++ error when trying to run 3dmark 2000. Have latest drivers installed 5.41.08, bios ver. 1.5-22. Reinstalled drivers & Software. Nothing seems to help. Iwas wandering if their is common piece of hardware involved.I will list my specs. If anyone else with this problem could list their system specs & see if their is an obvious culprit
I have a slightly different problem. When I run the default benchmark, or for that matter any benchmark, the programs always bounces to the benchmark at the end. No results collected, displayed etc.. I tried with all 5.x drivers and same problem. I forced 1X, disabled busmastering, defrag the drive, uninstalled/reinstalled (both 3D Mark and Matrox drivers (Yes I used the Matrox uninstaller). I have not had any problems with the G400 before. It also ran fine in 3DMark 99.
I can see all the test run and they look great, especially the Demo mode.
This is starting to get me... missed the enthusyasm of the just released... been teased with pictures... even MadOnion has no idea what could be wrong...
Want to whine about something, come give me a hand with this.
