I've sent a complain message to MadOnion about it and I'm waiting for a reply.
I know... kind of late, but more people with the same problem.. maybe they'll think harder...

So, anyone who has our problem, send them a message

I know this doesn't help much, but I have an Aureal SQ2500 (Vortex 2) soundcard and am able to run the benchmark with no problems, aside form the flashing helicopter scene.

I really don't think it's a hardware problem, unless it's a conflict with a hardware driver. I don't know how you'd get a runtime error with hardware, but I'm not an expert. Hopefully MO is working on it. There are a few occurences on this BBS, so there are probably many more world wide (I hope).

            No response from MO...

If there's someone to blame... then let's just focus on Microsoft.

              MadOnion's reply:

"We are working to solve this problem.
Are there any new software that you have recently downloaded from the net
              that might cause this?
Please do a list from recently installed programs, drivers and software
updates so we can debug this issue.

              Cheers,

              3DMark Team "

I bet you got a simillar response Paul.
