Haig: I need a copy of that. Too bad that it'll be too late for it this time around. My system's to the point that I need a fresh format/reinstall to get rid of some of the more flakey behavior- ie: Windows self-enables the sleep mode (even though I've repeatedly disabled it) while I'm playing, causing me to lose all keyboard control. When that happens, whatever keyboard key I was using acts like it stays pressed (meaning if I was sidestepping, my character is stuck sidestepping, etc.) until I hit the reset key. I did get 2 frags with the enforcer against guys with rocket launchers that way though, LOL.

Can't we all have that copy of Ghost? I've heard that Ghost 5.5 can copy the image directly onto a CD-R(W), but no Ghost below 5.5 can do that, or so I'm told. So Haig, what about giving us your copy of Ghost?

        Hi guys,

search for ghost.exe and a dos mouse driver like mouse.com. I think you can find this mouse driver on one of the dos 5 or 6 disks.

        Ghost itself is ~500K.

          back to topic, dudes !

weee ... that was fun last night !

I've been fragged to hell, but what do you expect form a 28.8 modem when you have to pickup the weapons twice or three times to really pick 'em up ...

Anybody out there that might give me an hand to get better and steady ping times ?

            Hi Jord,

So Maggi, what you dare to say is that you'll be better when you're playing with a faster modem?
            ...

Of course I'm not sure, but at least I hope so ...

It's kinda useless, when you launch a load of rockets, run ahead to get that enemy, but being fragged into pieces by your own blast ... know what I mean ?

Anyway, it was fun and I'll be back on there asap !

              Maggi,
I found iSpeed helped my dial up connection a bit, but I'm thinking a modem upgrade would do quite a bit for you.
For some reason, I get wildly fluctuation pings every now and then, but usually disconnecting and redialing solves the problem (must be something at my ISPs end of things).
Maybe it's about time someone (Maggi for instance...) tried one of those USR gaming modems, just so we all know whether it's a load of hooey or not

Is the Ghost you all are talking about different from the Norton Ghost program, which the latest rev is 5.1d (patched)?
