      I tried the new drivers and got practically the same score(actually 3826 and 3825). I may try it in my PIII 700@1050 over the weekend if I get a chance. I believe I may have tried the MAX at 1050 MHZ before but I think the score was still only in the upper 3800 range.

        3825 is a great score . I got a score of 3716 with this setup.
        PIII600@828(138fsb),P3V4X motherboard ,256MB HSDRAM ,G400Max @190.50 Core speed 214.31 Memory speed using MGA Tweak.(there is one BIG heatsink on the G400 chip and an 80 mm fan angled direcly at it! )Why dont you try upping the core speed more with the dividers @ 2.25 -2- 2.25

          I tried it on my PIII 700@1050 and the best I could get with the 6.0 drivers was 3850. It looks like the card is the limiting factor at higher speeds.

            Maggi,

            No, the 55mph speed limit has been lifted, it's up to the states to set their own speed limits. In Montana, it's "reasonable and prudent". In Wyoming, it's 65mph on good biways, 75mph on the interstates, and 55mph on the skinny biways. I think most states have adopted Wyoming's way, as they were the first to up the speed limits.

              Cool stuff, Rags ...

              Didn't know, but I always thought 'why the heck are the doing that ? ... so vastly build infrastructure and they are sentenced to slow-mo ...
              Thank god that here in Germany are still some speed unlimited tracks on our Autobahn, but it seems that they are getting fewer every month.
              Mainly due to noise and polution reduction, but some also caused by too many heavy accidents at ceratin spots.

              Anyway, good to read you weren't too much above limit ...

              Now JmsAndrsn,

              would be interesting if you really found the breaking point for the G400s scalability ...

              Until now it just scaled along with increasing CPU power, but before you get out the champagne, please ensure that your VSync was off in your registry.

              Cheers,
              Maggi

                Look what a bit of tweaking with MGAtweak can do:

                Look at the fillrate .And this is without Maggis SoftFSB trick. Only problem is that my friend wanted his Coppermine back

                  Well, my poor P3-450 running at 636 isn't the greatest these days. However, my FREAK G400 32MB DH Vanilla that does 175 core 200 mem easily (core will do 200) is a different story :P

                    Hate to bring this old topic to the top, but I just couldn't resist.

                    MGATweak settings:
                    GCLK=171.45
                    MCLK=214.31
                    WCLK=171.45
                    Duty Cycle Correction=0/11/0
                    SDRAM/SGRAM Optimization=3,1,3,9,3,1,Fast,1,1,1,0.0,0.0,2881
                    Dividers=2.5,2.0,2.5

                    It's the MCLK that's holding me back, if I go any higher I get the white spots.
                    Come on, hit me
