So you're saying that this card will have gaming performance surpassing the highest end GF3 cards? What about GF4 ti4600? =)

That's what I figure. The new P wants a shiny new box to live in. Gawd ... where am I going to find room for yet another PC and monitor around my desk? That will make three PCs and three monitors around a six foot desk. Such problems ... Time for a high quality KVM switch too rather than my old cheap switch.

Ok, time to save some money, but I may have a problem, if it's really fast available!

My EIZO TFT arrived two weeks ago, and that one wasn't very cheap you know (between 600-700 EURO)!
Than I need two new tires for my Kawasaki motorcycle (300 EURO) plus inspection costs and has to be checked by the Technical Inspection Agency (150 EUR)!
AHHRRRRGGG over 1000 EUR in one month!

I have to enter the next bank and shout "Hands up this is a robbery!".
Ok, this one is only a joke!

I think it's time to sell some hardware stuff that's standing all around my desk at eBay!

I think all of nVidia's current products will be eating copious amounts of dust.

If you take a look at the Parhelia specs... oh you can't can you, guess you'll have to wait another week and I'll have to sit and bite my tongue

Sure no problem, anyone else want them? Like Matrox would ever give me the specs with my big mouth

Woohoo,.. looks like the timing is right for my new system (its running well at the moment, but the G400 is crying out to be upgraded).

Anyone know when this new announcement will ever hit the retail channel? (what's the normal turnaround for matrox?)
You wanna piece of me? here, *crunch*, o.k. not _that_ bit.

Based on past experience: 1-2 months 'til it hits the Matrox online store.

Well...i'm hoping for at least a good 30~40% better real world performance out of the midrange version of parhelia, compared to a GF4 4600,even if it ends up costing 50~100$ more,so that it'll still be a worthwhile consideration for power users once ATI's R300 and Nvidia's Nv30,as well as creative's line of cards based on the 3dlabs p10 chip are released in a few months time....
                              note to self...

Assumption is the mother of all f***ups....

                              Primary system :
P4 2.8 ghz,1 gig DDR pc 2700(kingston),Radeon 9700(stock clock),audigy platinum and scsi all the way...

maybe they should bundle a hat with it, just for those who bought a g4 previously
