Gawd of course the price went down. The new card ain't in the shops yet after six months maybe fewer it be worth fifty quid less. If Nvide and Ati release the best card ever the price will drop further quicker.

So what's up? Who da fak is Kursin? And by the way it's really funny that as soon as the retail "P"-card was introduced you had to tell people that you own a "P", you just had to do it. No matter if you could not tell people anything about the performance of the card in comparison with other cards, you just wanted the world to know you had one.

I mean, think about it for a second. Thousands of mouths asking: "How fast? How good? What's the performance in comparison to GF4? etc...." And all you have to say is: "All I know is I have the card (for free) and it really rocks! You really wanna get one too! That's all I'm allowed to say....."

One might call that as really cheap (while effective) commercial trick just before the card is actually available.

Really. "Let's throw few of these to feed the flames called HYPE and just tell them to shut the **** up about really interesting stuff like test results etc. and hey, why don't we open our pre-order campaign while the fire is still burnig everyones fingers!"

Give it a rest. Kruzin is a well-respected member of these forums, and moderator of this forum in particular.

The BBs are not just trying to brag. Maybe that's what you would do, but they're volunteering their time to answer whatever questions they can. They've already provided tons more information than you'd find without them. What games they've tried, screenshots, and as much of the "does it do X?" questions as they are allowed to answer. Matrox's beta testers are under NDA's that are suffocatingly tight, and these guys have been doing all they can to get a little breathing room and say as much as they can say.

Beta-testing is enough work without ****oles like you bitching that what the BBs do isn't enough. It would be plenty easy for them to just go completely silent, and would certainly make their lives easier. No wonder there are BBs who still haven't come out of the closet.
