Hmmz... That might be a problem...
Especially if you check the sys.req here...

      They state minimum 600Mhz...

So unless you do some serious oc'ing with stable results, I don't think you should spend 400$ on it..

blah, Kruzin beat me to it... :-/

Grrr...I'll ask again, has anyone tested the card with Morrowind?? The reason I ask is because that game will actually use some of Parhelia's features. An 8500 doesn't do too well when looking at the pixel shaded water in large towns with a lot of activity going on. I'm wondering how Parhelia can handle it....

have anyone tried the parhelia in glquake?
it is old, but it is one of my favourite games(a true classic), every other card than matrox, seems to run this game just fine.
Im just curious if they have finally fixed this, since they have rewritten the opengl icd from scratch.
This sig is a shameless atempt to make my post look bigger.

Which BBs are testing the DVD playback and TV out capabilities? Any of them driving a HDTV via VGA? What's the feedback?

NDA for reviewers lifted the 25th ?

The reason for Matrox's decision to set a NDA of the 25th is so that when reviews are published, you should be able to actually purchase a card. Parhelia boards will be available sometime next week according to Matrox.

Read inbetween the lines....IE we are still getting the bugs worked out and dont want to have shotty drivers like what happened with the R8500 when it first came out
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

                                Not true.
It runs fine on my old Asus P3B-F, which only does 1x and 2x, 3.3v.
