Originally posted by KvHagedorn Why do the US order numbers we are getting seem to jump from double digits to over 2000? Myself and some others here have numbers like 17, 19, 16, 59, etc., but THEN we hear from people with order numbers like 2168 and 2179. What happened to all those in-between numbers? Does anyone have a PU-734 or PU-1239 or something? What's with the weirdness here?
Maybe its including orders from overseas? I dont care I'm number 18...I can brag now
Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?
Didn't want to wade through the entire thing, but someone asked when your credit card would be charged if you pre-ordered. Sorry if this is a repeat, but ShopMatrox.com says this:
Your credit card will only be charged once we receive stock of the product and it is ready to be shipped.

Unless they screw up of course. And if they do that the problem then comes around on how they refund you. I may have missed this but do they say on their web site that they'll refund against the card.

i've ordered every matrox card i've owned from their store(..online), and they have never charged my card until they shipped the product.
as far as refunding goes...matrox didn't get to be the "oldest" and, IMHO the best graphics card maker in the business by ripping people off...i wouldn't worry about it.
Call me skeptical, but I want to make sure I get my $400.00 worth.
I remember paying $325.00 for my Millennium I with 2MB of WRAM and didn't think twice about it because of what it offered. Here it is 6 years later and people are whining about having to pay $75.00 more for a 128MB DDR card that has the best IQ in the industry, great 3D, and some of the best features of any card on the market.

Libertarian is still the way to go if we truly want a real change.
I'm just wondering if no one is careing about games shipped with this card. Ok, having a parhelia would be the next thing i will buy, but some games within the box would be great.
Hmmm a local retailer here in the Netherlands is taking preorders for the bulk and retail version, with the following prices: €452 (bulk) and €480 (retail). (all including taxes)
Now i feel kinda screwed since they claim availability in the beginning of July! Whats up with that?
