    OK then. Once I add more cooling to the IC's, I should have even better cooling than seen in the pics. We'll see how well it goes....

      For a labor test exactly the right. Realy good cooling characteristics.

      @|Mehen|
      At the moment 3 Slots (60*60*45), with the smaller one 2 Slots(50*50*25) and in a short time 0 (Watercooling).

      @WyWyWyWy
      Exactly Arctic Silver III + Arctic Silver Epoxy

      @rylan
      Yes, the 4920 is the strongest from Vishay and already in the normal operation very hot.
      I don't have power supply schematics also.

        No matter what I do I can't get it above 245mhz. Will continue to mess with it....

                I think, the Card is to hot or you have to low voltage...
                how much V you have?

                My P running stable @272/678

                Circuit 1= 2,39V
                Circuit 2= 3,42V
                Circuit 3= 1,70V
                Circuit 4= 3,15V

                  Hey that's nice. We have similar CPUs and this is a speed that I can operate my R9700 at without getting artifacts (I do get those when going under 260MHz). So we could do a real clock-to-clock comparision of the Parhelia to the R300.

                  (You run a bit higher FSB and have the faster NForce2 compared to my KT333, but my CPU runs at 20MHz more which should compensate for this a bit).

                    OK, here it is:

                    That's the Parhelia @272/339 vs. the R300@275/337.
                    The NForce2 helps 3DMark and Quake3 quite a bit, hence the scores in the "CPU-benches" Car Chase and Lobby high detail.

                      Good test Indiana!!!

                      And yes, 3dmark is more of a CPU test than anything else.

                          wow, im amazed at how close the P was, even beating the 9700 in a bunch of tests, impressive. it just goes to show what a shame it was that matrox didnt have a higher clock speed on the P.

                            You see that Game 4 - Nature?
                            I still am wondering why P performs so bad on this.
                            Could it be the driver or hardware?

                              hey, since dx9 is out, that means theres gonna be a new 3dmark (hopefully), so it will be interesting to see how well the P performs compared to the other cards in dx9 tests. [and it will be interesting to see how far my geforce3 falls behind ]

                                yeah, the nature thing with the P is one of the great mysteries of the world, along with the pyramids and michael jackson
