YEAH BUT WHAT I DON'T GET IS WHY THE OPENGL32.DLL FILES ARE DIFFERENT SIZES!!

Easy, Lag. You probably copying the mgatglk7.dl_ file that is ZIPPED. Open it with winzip extract the mgatglk7.fll file, and there you have your nice ~500k file. Oh and rename it opengl32.dll.

well, i guess that wasn't the problem because turbogl still isn't working, im still getting that blinking screen with loading in the middle flickering wildly, does my resolution in halflife have to be like 800x600 for turbogl to work or anything?

i am really pissed off at my g400 now...
there are so many clipping problems, decal problems, and Z-Buffer problems...

and its not even that fast...

5.41 and 5.50BETA patches r messed up and 5.30 works but they suck!!!

Please try the following ppls:

download my driver pack (G400 only, Win9x only) from www.paraknowya.de and the latest TurboGL stuff from www.murc.ws as well as the uninstall tool from Matrox.

Uninstall the current drivers with the uninstall tool, reboot.

Install my driver pack, reboot.

Change all the display settings (to those you want like screen res and special settings in the display properties) and install the TurboGL ddrivers.

Try the programs you did not get to run correctly before. They should work now.

One thing that must be said, the newest ICD is not in faster than the TurboGL in every app, there might be cases where the new ICD is a bit faster but this was done by dismissing stability!

I would not recommend anyone d/l hacked up drivers. You have no idea what you are getting, or what it might be infected with.

ParaKnowYa, I would suggest removing those drivers from your web site. You should not be redistributing mixed-n-matched drivers and calling them "yours". When you d/l those drivers from Matrox, you agree not to do this sort of thing. I'm surprised you have not already gotten an e-mail from them asking you to remove them.
