ok did I miss something or am I a lot more poor than the rest of the world... Three monitors that's about $1200.00 CND just in monitors ontop of that a $600.00 CND video card BS I don't think I need to worry.... and how about that kickass monitor with three screens built into it...Chaching chaching chaching $$$$$$$$ you would need a minimum deposit and have your credit approved...

I don't realy think that too many people will be using three monitors (especially if you don't have AC and its the middle of summer) and I don't think cheating is the way to go... having every edge?, for what to get your name posted on a website... LOL... come on play for the fun of it and cheating in any form is anything that is giving some advantage to people that the game was not inteded to do like see through wall, that sucks so bad that people even admit to that. I must be the only persone with morals left that isn't 50... WTH is wrong with people who think that cheating means your good.... Rant over, sorry I just play for fun and enjoyment and not to have some **** ruine it just because he/she(I doubt the she though) are trying to win some pissing contest with friends at school. I guess I shouldn't say anything I guess they are acting there age

I guess I had a little bit left

Well, Surround Gaming is all about fun, and I admit that I'd really like to try it when I get rich , but I think it's an unfair edge in a non-coop multiplayer game. I'd really like to see something like the server admin allowing or disallowing it, so everyone has more equal chances. For single player, or with others that have it, I think it'll be much fun though

I doubt many of the MURCers would cheat in a multiplayer game.

You would never know that when your getting vaporized by Beezer's Shock Rifle all that time he was on a Dial up.

You don't have to use 3 expensive monitors for triplehead!!

To try this out I went to the local computer show and picked up 2 decent used 15" monitors for about $30 each and put 'em next to my 19". All that has to be the same is the rez and the refresh rate.

They're only there for peripheral vision in games for God's sake....

Now....for working in Premiere, MSPro etc. it's another story. Since this is where I spend most of my time those 15" monitors went to my kids systems and a brace of new 19" displays took their place. The total expense was still only $300 each, though I could have cut the price a bit by going for refurbs.

The really painful part was moving things around to let 'em fit

              - How can it be classified as cheating? In the real world we dont only see a 90 degree view. We probably see a full 180 degrees. And that what Triple Head brings. If being more realistic is cheating... Then blah. -

Here here. Us poor dial up users need to have something to even up the score.

LAN gaming is my primary gaming experience, and I am not allowed to take 3 monitors to a LAN so in my own experience no tiple head gaming is not cheating.

It will give you an advantage. But nothing amazing people.

In fact, it is cheating. All you 1337 cheaters with your colour monitors and pentiums and high speed modems.

Let's see you challenge my 368SX@25, 11" b/w monitor and 2400baud modem! raa....

That's exactly my point. I totally agree that dialup vs broadband is "unbalanced", but it's not "cheating".

You know, dialup is part of the reason I favored the shock rifle so much. Since I never could tell exactly where my broadband target was, the shock combo had a wider area of effect and worked well for me. I also favored the green sludge gun too for that same reason, but I often got accused by the LPBs of "spamming".

This reminds me of the time I played quake 2 against my little brother…

Every time I fragged him he became furious (as 9 years old can get ) came into my room and started to beat m,e on my shoulder….

So he demanded that I would not:

                            Sneak around,
                            Shot him from behind,
Use anything other than the machine gun,
                            Run,

                            Because it was cheating!

So of course I fragged him lot of more time’s anyway! (despite my “limitations” )
If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

                                you said

........I think "cheating" is perhaps a poor choice of words. Strictly speaking, if any game manufacturer sanctions it, then it's not cheating. However, triple-head could indeed make the gameplay "unbalanced"...............

i was thinking you said something else. i think . hehe
