I have now 8 WUs lying here around and I already lost about 20 hours of crunching ...

At home I have at least 5 more WUs waiting for being sent over.

Nice to read that it is not my problem ...

Actually, the problem is stated on the Seti@Home homepage. It also says they have no idea when they'll be back online.

I spoke to my friend & fellow TA member(Darkone) earlier asking what he had added to his already large collective.

This is part of the secret weapon I mentioned ,here is what he's added.

1 dual Enterprise 3500 (4 x 450MHz sparc cpu's ,512k cache/cpu ,8Gb RAM)
5 x Sparc Ultra 10's
9 x Enterprise 420's (440MHz cpu's)
1 x Enterprise ???? (400MHz cpu)

Hehe & there is more to come:Q!

BTW he was telling me that the 3500 did a WU in 2hrs 13 mins!!!! Bloody hell!

I think his output easily exceeds 100 WU's/day.If it weren't for this damn server outage.

BTW my SETI WU storing program still says connection refused ,the server is still down .
Oh well 1.5 WU left for me to crunch

Maybe their e-mail is on that server also and they shut it down to protect it from that ILOVEYOU virus. Our Agency (FDA) shut down all Internet access for the last couple of days to protect our servers.
