    Yes, I do need help...
(no not that kind of help!) Well, maybe...
    Lemme think...

I'm driving to Belgium tomorrow, for a week holiday. What are opening times in shops there with the coming days in small places like Mlamedy? I mean like the groenteboer, slager, bakker en dergelijke.
I honestly wouldn't know: I live either in Ghent (big city) or near the coast, and opening times do tend to differ (big city, tourism, ...).

    • Then again, loosing out from a member who would have everything crunching (including the kitchen sink) doesn't look that bad...

            • Gonna jump on the bandwagon with my home machine first. How does one finish ones current work from a project (SETI) without downloading new work?

              • Don't know if it's possible to set it not to download another WU.

It might be possible to set your BOINC preferences so that the SETI maximum download rate is 0 Kbytes/sec
                OR
You could let BOINC run both projects and put SETI at a low percentage of Resource Share, and kill it after it finishes the current WU it's working on.
                OR
Disable net access & let it finish whatever it's working on. Then let it connect and detach from it after that, & then start CPDN

                • Ahh frell it.
I just switched it. SETI will send the data back out to someone else if it is not done within a certain time anyway.

First stats are showing up now.

                  • You just have to change the preferences to correspond to how much you want the computer to work on each project.

This is changed under the preferences link for each project. Then change the resource share for each project. For a 50:50 split change both to be the same number; 23:1 use a set of numbers so that the ratio is the same.

This doesn't get around the problem of after finishing a SETI workunit another is downloaded. I haven't found a setting to let BOINC finish the current WU then stop that project entirely.
