  • Hey, sometime ago i promised to bring my dual rig into action, well for 1 hour ago, it just went online for CPDN matroxusers. 24/7.

It's only running at 2*2350 mhz bcoz my 500 w. antec powersupply died, and i just have a 300 w. psu, and can't get it to run on a higher speed on this psu.

        • Well my internet connection has been down at home for the last week or more, so when I'm back up there should be a nice load of extra trickles from my machines...

          • Over the past weeks, the battle for the #1 position in our team has been re-ignited. Maggi, the first mass-cruncher joining our team had to accept dshumake passing him by. Maggi's commment at the time was somethign like "let's see if I can keep up uin the long term". Well, the difference between them is now down to a mere 1,700 credits or close to 20 trickles, which Maggi may bridge on any good day but more likely two.

Still, current #3 box is steaming ahead as well, gaining on dshumake but loosing some to Maggi, albeit not much. It won't take long before #3 has twice the credits of #4. GT40 is set to get to #4 but that may take a couple of weeks still.

Umfriend, having been alone for 5 days took the opportunity to crunch as much he could, runnign 24/5 to regain the lost #11 spot but ended up just 1,000 credits short of overtaking uberlad.

V "Monster-upload" J is still crunching and some suspect at some stage he will have three full models (216 trickles, some 20k credits) to upload as it has been quite a while since we've seen an upload. GNEP

Fluff, Admiral, dbdg, J1NG and CaineTanathos appear to have stopped crunching alltogether, which is a shame. The team ranks #23 now as we have lost some momemtum (although over the last week at least, Maggi, box and to a lesses extent Umf did increase production) which enabled 2CPU.com to retake their #22 position.

Matrox Users need to gain some 300,000 credits on TeAm AnandTech to get to a #20 position, which while doable will at current crunching speeds occur after the Middle-East problems have all worked out satisfactorily for all people, which is something we can not allow to occur! (uhm, that we'll get to #20 after that of course, not of it happening).

What we can hope for is that the lost Murc crunchers rejoin our effort and that more MURCers can be persuaded to join as well. YES, THIS IS A HINT!

            • I've brought a 3rd box online temporarily - DFI Lanparty Ultra 2 B with a Duron2 @210x10, but I'm only really running CPDN as a temporary measure to stress test it before I put a proper build on it.
              Athlon XP-64/3200, 1gb PC3200, 512mb Radeon X1950Pro AGP, Dell 2005fwp, Logitech G5, IBM model M.

                  • Well, I pride myself in the fact that I have more credits per computer than you.

You have the highest number of computers (ex aequo with exdirtfarmer), and still you only manage a 12th place... Pathetic!

                    • Actually, CPDN can't count computers. I have 8 (One is double counted becuase I had to re-install from C: to D: and 2 are out of commision but I can't delete the host-ids...). Still a lot, but 6 aren't mine. Those 6 really just work while the user isn't working and is otherwise switched off. My two PCs did 43,478 credits which is 21,739 a piece. Your 3 processors are at 64,366 which equates to 21,455 per CPU. I'm still ahead.

                      • Wait till after my monster upload....
(Of course, chances are I'll have to stop during summer : my appartement gets quite hot, and the computer is contributing noticably to that. But as long as we have Belgian weather... )

I actually have very few computers left that are active. At one point I was using CPDN to run a burn in on some server builds but no longer have them crunching. Down to 4-6 systems and sometimes these are only crunching part time. We do the best with what we got for the MURC CPDN team.
