History is to be used and learned from, not abused.
Try reading Ecclesiastes/Kohelet (quite short book) that speak to the mind and soul. It's quite a shocking book written by the an old and cynical King Solomon. After all those decades, this book still puts some light over religion and belief.
It's in no way a "jewish" book so it would speak to anyone of western culture.

2 problems:

1. I don't know the exact hour of my birth

2. I don't believe this mumbo jumbo. I have a full astrological chart made for me that some big expensive computer software made (it was free for me) after I told the owner I don't believe this shit. I sat and read the 6(!) pages of info just to find out that:

half wasn't true about me
1 quarter that was somewhat true was very general so it's also true for many other people and the last bit was the best - assumptions about my childhood and relation with my parents even though that silly software doesn't have my parent's data nor it was programmed to check current date. Wha tI mean is that it could give the exact stupid things for ababy 2 weeks old !

If I want to know the past, I open my photo album.

When I want to know about myself from second hand, I read stuff people wrote me and I talk to my friends .

Are you implying in a way, that if I find another person that I'm in many ways identical to >200 other chilren that were born at the exact 15 minutes of my birth ?

What about children which were born prematurely ? Or 'unborn' children (caesarian birth) ?

I've had a numerological reading done. It was complete garbage. Utterly unrelated to me in any way.

To imply that the TIME of my birth defines me as an individual is foolish. That means every other infant in the hospital at the same time as me is almost identical to me... which is also patently absurd.

...yes, I went through all those doubts and thoughts and rationalizations two years ago. Then I caught on...

A couple of months ago, I gave the charts and full printouts of Bush, Cheney, Ashcroft and Kofi Anan to someone who knows them all very well. This person confirmed not only was it them to a hair, the insight into the first three was frightening regarding the position they hold, whereas the third was perfect for his job. Cheney would scare you to death. I did Hitler's chart too. Now I can see why he was able to do the things that he did...

I'm not selling anything, but HDS turned out to be a missing link for me, from personal, family, business and far beyond.

Here's the problem. Those charts could have been from any of the 1000 babies born at the same exact time as Bush, Anan, etc.

And THOSE babies are obviously not the same people as Bush.

I understand that you have seen some empirical evidence that this method is accurate, but I ask you to think for a moment.

Are there REALLY 1000 other people identical to YOU? There is a baby born every second. Within a margin of error, that means there are dozens, hundreds, or thousands of other people who share your "profile". Are all these people JUST LIKE YOU? Think about the people you went to school with. Some of them shared your birthday. Were you identical to them in personality? No.

I'm not saying that you haven't seen working evidence of this method. I'm simply saying that for the general case it's absurd. It's absurd to take two babies, born at the same time in different parts of the world, and declare that they will, in 20 years time, be IDENTICAL people. Because that's what you're saying. That's what numerology claims.

Oh, wait - I forgot. Your NAME has something to do with it, too. Silly me. Ok, so two kids born at the same time, given up for adoption, named "John Doe", in different parts of the country... will grow up to be the same? I think not.

One gets adopted by a family of devout Mormons, the other gets adopted by a former Hell's Angel and his latest "bitch".

Do you SEE where your method starts to fall apart? I don't care if it "works" for a single case, or even 100 cases. It doesn't work for me, it doesn't work for anyone I know, and it doesn't work in the GENERAL case.
