Not remembering which os you use... autoexec.bat is run each time the pc is rebooted.
Its sort of the Dos version of your startup folder in windows.
Most of the stuff in there is useful/needed as a guess (again depending on which os you are running)

Not to pick, but remember sometime back when I suggested installing a firewall and those who laughed at you for doing so. Thus they advised you to remove it and why they said to? Remember when I said not to use AIM because there was a bloody million hacks to it?

While I'm most definately not laughing at your current situation it does make me think who the true fools really were... and you are the one suffering because of their blatent ill advice.

If you want to reinstall, I would consider getting another hard drive to do the new installation on. Keep your old drive as a slave, then you can easily (and very quickly) transfer the old data you want to keep before formatting the old drive.

1. Call the local PD and report this with all info/sceenshts/captures etc that you have on him and save the IP captures (they will come in handy later on trust me)......
2. then if they wont act, call the attourney general's office and give the same info to them....they WILL ACT......trust me
3. do not contact him further, ignore him and do not do ANYTHING he asks, as this will look like you are friendly with him and kill any prosecution
4. tighten the firewall up as best you can
5. buy a new drive and leave the old ones unused so it can be looked at later....

trust me, this isnt funny, and VERY illegal....but keeping pron of yourself on your drives is....riske' burn it to CD

well it logged from the start that puppetz came onto the scene, even where he took over my screen

i think this is part of the trojan he installed.

i'm trying to uninstall it now, im just reading the directions over and over again to get it right

when i brought up netstat, it has a foriegn address in that. not sure how to get rid of that besides the reinstall. mayve it will take it out when i take out the trojan thingy

This file change dates is because the logger (trojan) keeps writing into it. Nobody is accessing it from outside.

Hey there, my suggestion is three fold

from a hardware standpoint get your self a good firewall

from a software standpoint Black Ice Defender or Zone Alarm these will help you a bit, but are still vonerable as they are nothing more than software, but generaly give you a good idea as to what is going on, on your computer, though it won't really stop whom ever.

third, i'd report the ip address to the ISP if you know it to, turn up the heat for the guy just a bit. (slow unfortunatly)

Uhm, Better put your "very private" photos on a crypto-drive. So that you can mount it when it's needed and data will be unaccessible for most of the time... (This is what I do with my "very private" pix)
