Some pictures of the original 1930/31 Cadillac V16:

    Fleetwood limo body:

    Pininfarina sport body:

    Sedan at a car show:

    Closeup of engine:

There were a lot of cool cars in the early 30s.. Bugatti, Duesenberg, Auburn, Cord.. a shame that the great depression allowed few to purchase them.

I'd be willing to bet if someone started making updated versions of those 30's body styles that would pass the crash tests they'd sell a bunch of 'em.

Fondly reminds me of driving the boss to Pepe's Restaurant in the sport body.
Also drove a sedan for the Scorsese cigar crates job.

btw, if you wonder if I lost my marbels, I'm talking about Mafia

Still wondering if you lost your marbles.. You aren't 100 years old, by any chance?
I do remember reading that Al Capone owned a number of V16 Caddys though.

That would be great, instead of some twisted futuristic design.

Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

A friend of mine made a really good point once. If Ford could sell remakes of the original Mustangs, $$$$
