C&C Generals judging from the pics I've seen, is going to require a whole lot more than a G400. And the game still has one more year left in production.
Welcome to the "What's New" section of the Matrox Graphics Web site. It's your very own gateway to the freshest content and updates on everything from the latest product launches and driver releases, to design wins, reviews, awards, and whatever else is sizzling-hot on the site.
Sizzling-hot?
"Matrox Visual Display Quality", "third-generation MMS products", "G450 DVI included in several new IntelliStation workstations" and "new Millennium G450 32MB PCI with DVI output" - this ain't sizzling hot Matrox
Nvidia is in full freakout mode... They are pre-pre-announcing there new product.
You know, it will be a battle for them to keep mind share.
(but I suppose you were looking for something else? )
I just went over to a couple of hardware/gaming sites that have posted about this new nVidia thing. On most of them you can give comments so I posted that they pre-announced their chip because they are afraid of Matrox
Maybe you should all do that as well if you see similar news items That brings Matrox in the spotlight, hehe

I just love how when Matrox lets quiet murmurs out of their own people, and demos "unknown hardware" doing things nothing else can do, it's just vaporware. However, nVidia says "we'll have something to talk about in August" and everybody jumps on. Sheesh.
