  • The new game with the spooky talking heads offcourse. The person who can make the ugliest faces on a one on one match, wins.

Very easy, and it needs a G550 to run.

    • What??!?

Not a single speculation since fridiay night, what is the world (this forum) coming to?

Not that there is ANYTHING Matrox to speculate over, but that´s beside the point, isn´t it?

        • Will the 64 Mb G550 really cost that much?

            • 64mb g550?

              what on earth for

16mb matrox is too expensive in aus let alone what a 64mb would cost

              would gaming perf benefit?

there isnt even a custom gart in the driver for 2k/xp, agp memory stuck at 16mb under 2k/xp

as for rumours, the pcwelt stuff spread to various forums, storagereview has a thread in there about it, sheesh a matrox thread in a storage site, what next, a matrox with dot3 ?

              • There is no way Matrox could expect to sell a $1000 consumer card, this reeks (or hints if you consider it a good thing ) of a professional workstation card. I just hope they release a toned down version for us 'mortals' too because I'm not paying $1000 for a graphics card unless it's actually got functioning RSN

                • Why must everything come down to gaming? There are other uses for graphics cards.

                            • They had to add DOT3 Classifications because the card is so fast they had to switch over to a hydraulic braking system so that the card wouldn't unseat itself when changing resolutions on the fly
