Matrox Graphics to come back? Parhelia on the [long] way
Although it has been nearly three years since Matrox Graphics made a big innovation in 3D-Graphics, called Matrox G400, that was highly adopted by both gamers and professionals, the company continues to tell the masses about its developments. At the Game Developer Conference, Matrox is going to sponsor a number of sessions.
Juan Guardado, who works at Matrox Graphics since 1996 is currently the 3D Architecture Analysis Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from McGill University, is going to explore the impact of textures in the geometry pipeline, such as geometry filtering and procedural displacements in his session "Textures in the Geometry Pipeline". Juan will told the game-developers about research projects like matrix palette skinning and displacement mapping.
