Seen from an UT players point of view .. owning a Parhelia and 3 monitors could give you a BIG advantage.

I mean you can see waaaaay more of the enviroment at any given time that non parhelia owners.

it is almost cheating actually, i renember when i first got my g400max, my friends wouldn´t let me use the second-head as a sniperview at a lan-party, (dualhead-zoom).

well, as long as they don´t include a "transparent-walls" option in the drivers, then its fine with me.

I wonder if parhelia can run quake3 fast enough at 4800*1200.

I would exspect the performance hit with triple-head to be huge.

I've heard that early Parhelia was running Q3 triplehead at 100fps.

well i for one will now not give a dam about cost if it can drive three monitors like that.
is a flower best picked in it's prime or greater withered away by time?

well if it gets 300fps - 400fps in singlehead, then it sounds reasonable.

and who needs that kind of framerate anyway, using it on triplehead is a good idea.

too bad i only have one monitor. maybe i can use the pretty fsaa instead.
