Well, unfortunately I can't oc the P4, cause it sits in a Notebook, and I'm sure you know how many options those Notebook BIOSes usually have
But I still was surprised to see how slow the P4 was, even though it is a Northwood and scores really well in e.g. Sandra and other artificial tests. Granted, it "only" has DDR and not Rambus, but still it's noticeably slower than a stock Athlon1800+. What really disappointed me is that it was even slower when doing DVD->DivX conversions, which is one field where the P4 is supposed to be fast.
P.S.: But it's still a damn fine Notebook, with a Northwood 2GHz, 256MB DDR-RAM (I'll get another 256MB soon, I think), a DVD/CDR combo drive, LAN, modem, USB, Firewire, digital audio out,... And what was one of the most important things for me: it has a decent gfxchip, not like most of those Notebooks with their SIS/... solutions: a Radeon Mobility with 32MB DDR and superb TVOut and DVD acceleration (better than that of the newer Radeon8500).
Software package was also quite nice (for the very decent price): WinXP home, MS Works Suite 2002, PowerDVD XP, Medi@Show, PowerDirector, Musicmatch Jukebox and Nero 5.
