Personally Le_Bob, I think the other way around - it seems to me that designing and producing the PCBs is Matrox's strength - a Matrox board with a GFFX on it would be interesting!

Yup - I agree with Thop. nVidia's drivers are fine from what I hear, and likely to be an awful lot better optimised than Matrox could ever manage.

Perhaps they could give nV a hand with adding 3 heads to a GFFX special edition

I have to agree with you. I have seen many a quote from the MURC in German Computer magazines. Once it is in print it is sadly recognized as fact. Printed news about Matrox been in a bad situation can sway the decisions of people who are thinking about buying a matrox product. For every action their is always a consequence, positive or negative.
