Poor Montoya... A nice drive throughtout the race, but 4 laps from the end he got engine problems, resulting in a drop from 3rd to 13th... (his final lap took over 2 minutes)
Some great manoeuvres throughout the race... BAR proved to have both the reliability and the speed (sort of) to become a serious contender...

@TP - what's most interesting - the finish or the race?
Sure, if you know nothing about the sport and just see the winners name in a headline you may think it's boring. BUT, watch the race, get to know the teams, understand the dynamics, the rivalrys, those going up, those going down, the friendships, the relationships, the strategies, the contentious issues, the atmosphere, the technology etc etc etc...
Besides, there's more to a race than just the winner. Sometimes it's more interesting what's going on behind the first two cars.
There are more than the "three big teams" driving...
Pity is that most of us that aren't blessed with digital TV can't change the camera to see what's going on behind those three cars.
*note to myself * Must get digital sat-tv...
Where can you do that in F1, Goc? In the UK it is shown on ITV with no interactive options. I have to say the coverage is generally pretty good though, with a lot of inside access and info.
Well after 4 races, re-reading this thread was quite interesting.
Yup, Shu wins again, but Button gets 2nd place (WTF happened on his middle stint???) and is now only 1 point from being 2nd in the drivers champsionship.
Poor poor old Raikonnen.
David who?
Renault? Weren't they supposed to do well this year? Jaguar...anyone seen a Jaguar lately?
Edit: I take that back about Renault, esp, with them being 2nd in the constructor's championship! They just seem a little more anonymous than I was expecting.

Reading between the lines it appears they turned his engine performance down to make sure he'd get second place. Rather than pushing for first, which they didn't think they'd get anyway, and blowing up the engine they'd take the safe points
When you own your own business you only have to work half a day. You can do anything you want with the other twelve hours.
Maybe, but they also told Jenson to back off when Sato's engine blew up. He over-did this intially and lost 7 seconds in one lap, but then got the balance right. 8 laps in would be very early to deliberately stop trying to win, especially after the initial pace.
At the very bottom of a report on the BBC web site, Jenson is quoted as saying 'the wind changed direction and the car was very nervous'. I'm not sure if he was speaking figuratively or just tossing a bone or what.
Briefly I hoped the someone else would win. But as expected when I looked it up Schu won. Guess he'll win the next one and then the next one unless his engine blows up.
