Just because they can? Some people collect guns, like you would collect anything else. I really don't see the need to buy one, but if I had the money and interest I would.

Its just like someone going out and buying a Hummer H2 instead of a smaller SUV or car...do they really need it or is it just something they want and a status symbol?
