Ba what a disappointment. Went into the Peak District too where 3 inches of snow fell on Thursday afternoon and night too discover I had more snow back home. Just a dusting so someone got the reporting wrong.

Got some pictures maybe I'll put them up on web site tomorrow.

No Snow in Toronto either and that's good at least I get to drive my car a bit more before it's packed up for the winter.

I'll be in Winnipeg next weekend. $10 says there will be a blizzard on the way in or on the way out (or both). Nothing worse than a 3hr drive turning into 6. Better get the big snow tires on the 4x4 for the trip. Winter is coming Mehen, it may be a little late this year but it NEVER misses us tobans.

I was hoping for a trip to Tremblant around the middle of december, but there's nowhere near enough snow for that yet. If there isn't a serious snowfall by next weekend...

SAdly this will mean choas tomorrow as the roads are awash due to blocked drains so any grit will get washed away. Council will have all there excuses ready.

At the moment November's about 2.8C above normal temp this will bring it down a little though.
You must live near to me, we had snow around that date too.

Plus only someone from around here would say "Hey up" or more likely "'Ey up, duck"

Why? I love snow storms. Even the big one in 1999 where Toronto had to call in the army to help clear the snow. Loved it!

                              yeh, so did I.
having a 4 wheel drive makes it even more fun - gotta love those 4 wheel power slides in the corners
I just not too crazy bout cleaning my driveway and the drives of the neighbours that don't have a snowblower.
