    PS3...but I can't take it's design...I'd rather have an Xbox 360...

My first thought when seeing the Revolution: "Mac Mini Replacement", then "does it play Divx?" then..."nah..." too bad...

I'd like an Xbox 360 that can play PS games and Divx and is no bigger than the Revolution. And cheap too. No sweat.

Revolution? Never heard of this one. Is it Nintendo's console?

yeah dude, although I'm inclined to the xbox 360 also (probably since I own an xbox and want to continue with some of the frachises such as Halo) although the raw power of the PS3 looks tempting. Who knows I might get both ..hehe

For my money they only REALLY worthwhile XBox games (Halo, KOTOR, etc.) are all released on the PC shortly after their XBox release, so I for one don't see the point.

BTW, I also picked PS3. Although I tend to not like the games that the PS3 comes out with, everything else is very appealing. I think the Xbox 360 can't compete in the long run. I mean 1080p and Blu-Ray are killer features. Not to mention the Cell chip seems to have kick ass written all over it. Nvidia's VPU seems to be more powerful than ATI's as well.

PS3 by a looooong shot (purely from paper specs).

I was watching some E3 show coverage on CNBC this morning. They interviewed a financial analyst who specializes in the game console sector and he said that it was like a race between a Porsche, a Ferrari, and a 4-wheel drive off-road SUV. Nintendo will do fine if everyone limits to 70 mph but if the developers exploit the faster platforms then Nintendo will lose out. He said Sony will dominate next year but of course Microsoft will have 100 percent of the new console market until then.

How will Microsoft have 100% of the market? PS3 is hitting in 2005, XBox 360 in 2006!

Uh, it's the other way around. X360 in 2005 and PS3 in 2006

I'm actually kind of excited about the new Nintendo, not only will it probably be half the price, I can't wait to get my hands on all those classic NES and SNES games you'll be able to play on it.

The PS3 wins hands down 'cause it's backwards compatible with both PS1 and PS2.

Apparently Revolution will be compatible all the way back to NES...

That'd be awesome too, but since I don't have any NES or any other Nintendo console games I couldn't care less.
