I think you can/will dload and burn all the old NES/SNES etc. games, but don't quote me on that. Not sure if you will have to pay for them (or how much).

Which console looks better on paper so far?

many people think that the ps3 killzone demo was pre-rendered. The MS people say it has to be taken with a grain of salt because the ps3 hardware doesn't even exist yet. They are more concept demos than tech demos.
I guess it's wait and see. I remember the original Xbox demos seemed to good to be true. But by today's standards they seem trivial. Imagine where we'll be in 2010? 2015? Full, life like, 3D immersion.P.S. You've been Spanked!

PS3 looks the best on paper (most performant hardware). The fact that it is backwards compatible is a great plus.
XBox: as said above, most games also come out on PC, so I never understood why it was popular...
Nintendo Revolution is in a league of its own due to the type of games. They are commonly less graphically intensive, simpler to play, often have a kid's look to them and are often addictive => more geared towards childeren?
That being said, it is very cool of Sony to allow the use of a PSP in combination with the PS3 (IIRC, it has been done before, but I'm unsure whether it was Nintendo or Sega).

Bleh. There are a million racing games.
Why on EARTH would you play an RPG on a console... oh, wait. You mean "console RPG". That's not an RPG. That's a poorly coded action game with complicated menus.
I stand corrected on the release dates, although let's get it straight that MS has not actually said they're shipping in 2005, and if they're running demos on PowerMacs then the closest release date would be CHRISTMAS, and if their price point really is $450+ or even $400 then they aren't going to do much damage in three months to PS3's March '06 release at $300.
I for one will buy a Revolution. I may also buy a PS3. If someone GAVE me an XBox of either variety I wouldn't throw it away. But I would never under any realistic circumstances pay money for it.The Internet - where men are men, women are men, and teenage girls are FBI agents!
